Randy Diehl is the brains behind REAL DEAL SPORTS. The Baltimore native has always been around sports and betting. A graduate of the University of Maryland Diehl is a passionate Terp fan and supporter.  Diehl's betting interests and success were passed down from father and grandfather.

Quoting Diehl, "I knew what a parlay was before I knew what a parrot was.  I grew up in a house where even my mother bet on horses and played the lottery every day. I believe I will gain recognition at THESWAMI.COM because I think out of the box. I paid my way through college by playing cards and betting on baseball. I once hit 15 straight bets on or against my O's. My frat brothers still call me daily during the summer for my plays in baseball. Annoying at times but still good.

I hope to show to the players/members of THESWAMI.COM I not only belong to be one of the professional sources but that can help struggling gamblers gain some consistency and advantgae in the world of sports betting. Randy has what he calls his "10 'Commandments' for Wagering on Baseball". Over the course of the MLB season he will at times share one of his commandments when it applies to a situation on that day's selection.

Diehl, who spent almost all of March in Florida and AZ watching and talking baseball plans to begin on opening day March 28th  2024 handicapping baseball. He will rate his plays 5  or 10 units. A majority of his plays will be 5 units. He will offer about 1 to 2 10 unit plays a week with several Games of the Week/Month during each month when the situation arises. He does not believe in Games of the Years.  Quoting Diehl again " No bet is that secure that it can not fail" I am a gambler but I am also a realist. Never bet what you can not afford to lose. Sports gambling is a privilege!!!! Not everyone should gamble on sports or anything. Unfortunately often the reverse is true. "
